Milton Sanchez-Parodi, MD
Dr. Sanchez-Parodi is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vista Trade Group. He is a Cuban-born US citizen with over 20 years of experience working with Cuba enabling humanitarian aid, agricultural sales and improved relations between the United States and Cuba. In this endeavor he has significant experience working with the Cuban Interests Section in Washington, DC as well as in Congress where he has given written statements to the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives. Dr. Sanchez-Parodi has further experience with extensive travels to Cuba over the past 20 years and has established relations with various ministries and entities in Cuba including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health and Alimport, the Cuban entity that buys US agricultural goods.
In addition to his duties as CEO of Vista Trade Group, Dr. Sanchez-Parodi practices Family and Emergency Medicine as well as teaching of medical students and doctors-in-training. A graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz and the Facultad de Medicina of the Universidad de Granada in Spain. Dr. Sanchez-Parodi is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine for Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. His private practice, Poland Primary Care has a humanitarian license from the US Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control(OFAC) which has enabled Dr. Sanchez-Parodi to over the years deliver licensed medicines and medical goods to Cuban hospitals.
Luis Manuel Alcalde, Esq.
Mr. Alcalde is Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Vista Trade Group. He is a Cuban-born U.S. citizen with over 28 years of extensive US and international experience in complex litigation, contracts, structuring domestic and foreign business entities and arrangements such as joint ventures, foreign partnerships and subsidiaries, licensing and marketing agreements and legal compliance with U.S. and foreign law. He started his legal career as a U.S. Army Jag Officer with the Third Infantry Division in Germany. He was an Ohio Assistant Attorney General, a partner in the Columbus, Ohio Law Firm of Crabbe Brown & James and President and General Counsel of PICA Corporation, an international investigations and consulting firm. He has travelled to Cuba often and worked on business and legal matters throughout Latin America. He has a Juris Doctor Degree from the Ohio State University, a Masters of Law in Business and Tax from Capital University Law School and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubble. He is completely fluent in Spanish and English. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Columbus Council on World Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Ohio Supreme Courtís Client Security Fund. He currently serves as Treasurer of CAPA Columbus and is on the Board of the Mt. Carmel College of Nursing.
Ms. Sanchez-Parodi is a Cuban-born US citizen with over 20 years experience in human resources, guiding companies and counseling executive management in how best to work with employees, using their talents and skills, to forge a productive organization. She holds a B.S. in Business and Human Resources from San Jose University in California. Ms. Sanchez-Parodi is an active participant in the community where she lives helping to provide food, shelter and improve the education of the disadvantaged.
